Farewell to the Binky!

Well the time has come to say good bye. You have had your binky all your life.

They have been around 3 years,9months, and 19 days. Then you cut them up all by yourself. Good job Canyon.

Canyon said good bye to his binky on sunday. As he was cutting the last one up he looked at me and said,"Mom, I'm going to miss those things." As I looked at how hard it was for him to give them up I said I am too. I realized I was attached to him having a binky and sad to let it go. Some people might think it was a job well over due and with my first or my second child I may have thought so too but after a few more kids I didn't care. They're only little once. It didn't hurt a thing and it made him happy. I promised him he could keep blanket and his stuffed dog forever.
