This morning I was tired and relaxing in my bed when Canyon came in and wanted toast. I said I would get it in just a minute. He said " I can do it all by myself." I was really lazy and said okay but don't make a mess. I was a little nervous because he is only 31/2, but he does help me alot in the kitchen. I heard him scoot a chair across the kitchen floor and open the fridge and everything. A minute later he came back in to tell me the toaster was stuck and his bread wouldn't come out. I reassured him it would pop up all by itself. He went back in and waited. After he was done he came in so proud. He made a piece of toast all by himself (with about half the tub of butter.
